Two registered sex offenders from Anderson have been sentenced to prison for violating their probation. 49-year-old Scott Hemme and 46-year-old James Schwede were taken into custody during a sex offender compliance sweep in January after officers found Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Both men had been identified in a cyber tip the previous March concerning the uploading of child pornography, and both had been placed on probation for that. The both pleaded guilty in February and were sentenced last week to 2 years 8 months in state prison.
