An organization formed to admire the Eagles in the Turtle Bay area is saddened by the deaths of two Eaglets with a few days. Friends of the Redding Eagles had announced the death of young Sol on Friday, apparently from dehydration. On Tuesday Sol’s sibling Luna was found dead on the bank of the Sacramento River. The cause of the second Eaglets death is not known. Both birds were hatched this year by the nesting pair Liberty and Guardian.
