Redding Rancheria is helping in the search for a missing local mother of four. A billboard paid for by the tribe has been placed along Interstate 5 seeking information about the whereabouts of 39-year-old Nikki Cheng Saelee-McCain, and the tribe has put up the $10,000 reward being offered through the Nor-Cal Alliance for the Missing. The last known sighting of Nikki was May 17th when she may have gotten a ride from a home near Win River Casino and may have been dropped off at her home on Olinda Road. The Shasta County Sheriff’s Office says Nikki’s Chevy Avalanche was found May 25th in Western Tehama County. Nikki is 4-foot-11 and 110 pounds with brownish-red hair and brown eyes and a floral design tattoo on her left forearm. Her photo is on the KQMS Facebook Page. A preliminary hearing was held Monday for her husband, Tyler Scott McCain, who faces four domestic violence related charges. The sheriff’s office has not said if he’s suspected in her disappearance. Anyone with information is urged to call detectives at 245-6135 or e-mail mcu@shastacounty.gov. Information can be reported anonymously at 378-4491.
