Update: 2nd Red Bluff Stabbing Suspected Arrested

A suspect in a Red Bluff stabbing has been captured. On Monday of last week a man suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries when he was attacked during a robbery at a homeless camp off South Main Street near the railroad tracks. Red Bluff Police say the two robbers already had the victim’s wallet and money but Valente Martinez stabbed him anyway. Both suspects fled on foot. Police arrested Dustin Yancy the next day. Martinez had remained at large all week, but he’s now in custody.
