Three teenagers who escaped Shasta County Juvenile Hall over a month ago are apparently no longer at large. The Probation Department had offered rewards of between $1,000 and $1,500 for information leading to the capture of the boys. Officials did not say why the three 17-year-olds were locked up, or how they got away, but they had last been seen running from Juvenile Hall on Radio Lane toward the southwest in the direction of Bonnyview Road on the evening of October 12th. A spokesperson would not confirm they had been apprehended, but told us they are no longer at risk and that there is no longer a public safety concern.
