The possibility of bail has been revoked for a Redding man accused of the long term sexual abuse and torture of his two children. 56-year-old Timothy Taylor was arrested by Shasta County Sheriff’s Detectives on Tuesday and he was arraigned Thursday. Bail had been set at a Million Dollars, but on Thursday a judge ordered him held with no bail and set a preliminary hearing for August 2nd. Taylor had allegedly been abusing both victims for the past 5 years at their home on Cortez Drive. One of them had apparently been abused since she was 14-years-old.
