A Shingletown man who’s wanted by the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office is still at large from an incident in February when he shot down a drone. 40-year-old Anthony Lynne Esquaville was a resident of Colley Lane off Dersch Road, about a half mile south of Highway 44. An arrest warrant was going to be served on February 2nd and the Sheriff’s Department was using a drone for surveillance when it was shot out of the sky, allegedly by Esquaville. Area residents were ordered to shelter in place, a long stretch of Dersch Road was closed and the SWAT Team responded, but Esquaville was never found. He has multiple warrants, including for corporal injury to a spouse and making death threats. The Sheriff’s Office says he’s been involved in many incidents in the last few months. Esquaville is 5-foot-6 and 160 pounds with hazel eyes and brown hair, bald on top. His photo is on the KQMS Facebook Page. A $1,500 reward is offered for tips at 530-243-2319 or scsecretwitness.com.
