With two weeks left until the deadline to certify the election, Shasta County still has 13,650 ballots that have not been processed. That’s in addition to 28,101 ballot cards that still need to be duplicated, manually verified and re-tallied, which has proven to be a time-consuming, labor intensive ordeal.
