Four felony charges were filed Thursday morning against a man accused of carrying on a sexual relationship with a jail inmate. 60-year-old Luis Sotero Navarro is a non-sworn employee who worked in the jail. The Sheriff’s Office learned of the alleged affair last Saturday and detectives say they obtained evidence that corroborated the relationship. Monday an arrest warrant was obtained. Navarro was arraigned Thursday and remains in jail on $250,000 bail. The Sheriff’s Office says the inmate’s identity will remain confidential.
