A Redding man is expected to recover from being stabbed multiple times very early last Wednesday morning off Parkview Avenue. The victim was transported to a hospital with life threatening injuries, and is still receiving medical treatment. Detectives interviewed witnesses who identified the suspect as 28-year-old Tyler Collin Carter, who’s on Post Release Supervision. He reportedly admitted to the stabbing during an interview. He was arraigned on Friday and charged with attempted murder with special allegations. A public defender was appointed for Carter and his bail is set at more than $600.000.
