Details have emerged in court about an Anderson murder. The Shasta County Sheriff’s Department says 30-year-old Crystal Ann Odom is the granddaughter of the slain woman, 64-year-old Teri Bigoski Mares. Odom had apparently been recently kicked out of the house at El Rio Estates on Riverside Avenue, and sought revenge. She had been staying at a home in Anderson, from which she allegedly stole a 45 caliber pistol, snuck into her grandmother’s home and lay in wait for her. The shooting occurred Friday night and Odom was arrested Saturday at a Hilltop Drive hotel, allegedly in possession of the gun. She’ll be back in court next Wednesday.
