A woman has died from injuries she suffered when she was struck by a wayward trailer while she was inside an Anderson business. Just before 4 O’clock on the afternoon of April 18th, 86-year-old William Shaw was driving a Ford F150 and towing a flatbed trailer on Deschutes Road when the trailer came loose in front of Balls Ferry Mini Storage at Balls Ferry Road. The trailer struck the wall of the office and crashed through to the other side, where 74-year-old Diana Floyd was sitting at a desk. She was transported to Mercy Medical Center with major injuries, and she died on Saturday. The CHP says Mr. Shaw was not impaired and the crash remains under investigation.
