Several state water agencies will meet with the California Water Commission next week to discuss the management of groundwater. Parts of the state are sinking due to the depletion of underground aquifers, and state government entities are looking into ways to slow down the land subsidence. Some of the discussion will address the practice of groundwater trading, as well as the water storage investment program. The meeting will take place in Sacramento next Wednesday at 9:30AM, and it will be live streamed at water.ca.gov.
