On Thursday the Sacramento River level will be more than double what it was at the start of the week. On Tuesday the Bureau of Reclamation boosted releases from 15,000 to 20,000 cubic feet per second and Wednesday it went up to 25,000 CFS. Two increases Thursday will bring the releases from Keswick Dam up to 35,000 cubic feet per second. Lake Shasta is currently about 20 feet from the crest of the dam, more than 30 feet higher than it was at the start of the year.
