A woman was arrested in South Redding after a vehicle fire threatened to spread into a house. At around 9 O’clock Sunday night Redding Fire Department and Cal-Fire were dispatched to Red Bank Road near Win River Casino. They found a van fully engulfed in flames, with the fire very close to a house and a lot of smoke pouring inside the occupied structure. A woman had been seen running away, and she was detained, questioned and arrested for arson.
