A Corning woman has died from injuries suffered in a collision in Gerber last week. Last Wednesday, 46-year-old Melissa Sides ran a stop sign on Rawson Road at Gyle Road, according to the CHP. Her Jeep Compass crashed into a Chevy Silverado being driven on Gyle Road by Leng Seng of Chico. The Jeep then ran into a Dodge pickup that was stopped on the other side of the intersection. Sides was transported to Mercy Hospital in Redding, where she died on Sunday.
