Woman Facing Multiple Felonies After Reportedly Impersonating Nurse For Several Months

A woman is facing multiple felony charges for allegedly posing as a nurse and working at a Shasta County medical facility. The District Attorney’s Office has not named the facility, saying Jacqulin Emery, a.k.a. Jacqulin Smith, worked as an RN from October of last year through January before she was caught. She made around $20,000 in wages during that time. The DA’s Office says she had stolen the identity of a licensed registered nurse who has a similar name. The California Department of Consumer Affairs conducted the investigation along with the DA’s Office.
