A 24-year-old Red Bluff woman has been sentenced for a couple of incidents that left police officers with injuries. On June 6th of 2022 Kelly Johnson was arrested for trespassing. As she was taken into custody she kicked an officer multiple times in the knee, causing bruising and swelling. A month later she was placed on probation but two weeks after that she had failed some drug tests and was caught at Saint Elizabeth Hospital rummaging through someone’s desk. When contacted by police, Johnson started kicking and kneeing the officer. She was again given probation but continued to fail drug tests and now she’s been sentenced to two years in Tehama County Jail.
