A Tehama County woman has been sentenced for a kidnapping. 40-year-old Cassandra Marie Jones was on probation for assault with a deadly weapon when she was arrested on October 30th. She had grabbed the arm of a 14-year-old girl and escorted her to a truck stop in Corning. The girl told Jones she needed to use the restroom, and then used the opportunity to escape and call police. Jones has been given a 3 year prison sentence.
