Woman Who Set Her Own House On Fire Sentenced To 6 Months In Jail

A 46-year-old Red Bluff woman has been sentenced for setting fire to her own home. Heather McNeely had been charged several years ago with battery on a peace officer. More recently officers were sent to McNeely’s home after she intentionally set her trailer on fire. A neighbor saw the flames and was able to extinguish the fire with a garden hose just before the police and fire departments arrived. McNeely has been sentenced to 6 months in jail and 2 years probation.
