DFW Captures Mountain Lion In Weed Date: November 03, 2025 A Mountain Lion has been captured in the Town of Weed. Officials say the lion had been feeding on pets and feral cats in the area. After many hours of tracking by State Fish and Wildlife, the Lion was safely captured Sunday night. -Steve Gibson
