A Redding drug dealer has been given a long sentence despite a plea deal. 64-year-old Glenn Murphy has been sentenced to almost 13 years in state prison after pleading no contest to several felony drug-related charges and admitting to a prior strike. In February of 2023 Murphy was arrested with over 1.5 Pounds of Methamphetamine and nearly 21 Grams of Heroin. He posted bail and less than two weeks later he was caught with over an Ounce of Meth, $4,400 cash and a loaded semi-auto handgun. Murphy’s sentencing was last Thursday.
