There was a major injury crash on Highway 99 in Tehama County Wednesday afternoon. At 1:20PM two women were northbound in a minivan north of Los Molinos with a fully loaded logging truck following close behind them. The minivan slowed down to make a left turn at 3rd Avenue and the trucker was unable to stop in time, plowing into the rear of the minivan. The driver suffered moderate injuries while the passenger was taken by helicopter with major injuries. The minivan was mangled.
