Redding Police reported a large drug seizure Thursday. 52-year-old Matthew Luke was pulled over by the Neighborhood Police Unit, who was very familiar with him after several recent drug related arrests. In July he was allegedly found with 2 Pounds of Methamphetamine. A search of his car Thursday reportedly turned up 1.7 Pounds of Meth in a variety of packages, along with a scale and a significant amount of cash. Luke was booked into jail for possession of drugs for sale.
