A woman has halted her jury trial in progress and decided to plead guilty to arson charges. It was the second day of trial last Wednesday when 38-year-old Toni Hill took a deal that gives her a 10 year prison sentence. Hill was on parole for assault with a deadly weapon in October of last year when she started a fire near the T/A Truck Stop on Knighton Road during red flag conditions. The fire forced the closure of Interstate 5 and threatened Pacheco School. Hill claimed it was an accident, and gave the arresting officer a false name.
