Some prescribed burning will be done this week in various parts of the Shasta-Trinity National Forest where crews have been thinning vegetation and leaving it in piles. Burns will be done on 200 acres near the Cabin Creek Trailhead in the McCloud District, 250 acres along Interstate 5 between Packers Bay and Antlers Bridge, 117 acres near Trinity Lake and 300 acres south of Highway 36 in the Yolla Bolla District.
