One of two shooting suspects has been captured in McCloud. Tuesday morning, Stephen Kristopher Robles and Leanna Elizabeth Varao reportedly fled a traffic stop in the Mount Shasta area, and were chased while firing multiple shotgun rounds at the pursuing Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Deputy. The chase ended in McCloud and residents were told to shelter in their homes during the manhunt. Robles was captured Tuesday night by deputies in McCloud. Varao remains at large.
