New Diesel Blend Makes RABA Buses Cleaner

Redding Area Bus Authority is taking a big step toward sustainability by transitioning all 16 of their diesel buses to a blend of 80% petroleum diesel and 20% biodiesel, which is made by recycling vegetable oils, animal fats and cooking oils. It reduces CO2 emissions by 15% without any engine modifications needed. RABA also has three electric buses and will be getting grant money to purchase more.
