The CHP will set up a sobriety checkpoint Friday night between 6PM and Midnight. It’ll be somewhere in the unincorporated area of Shasta County. Officers will scan for signs of impairment and check for valid drivers licenses. Officers will have handheld breath testing devices and drug recognition experts will be on hand as well.
