A pedestrian was struck by a car in North Redding Christmas Eve, and the driver was arrested. The collision happened near the intersection of Lake Boulevard and Oasis Road. The pedestrian was transported to a hospital with major but not life-threatening injuries. Redding Police determined that the driver, 50-year-old Tonya Stonkey, was under the influence of multiple prescription drugs. She was arrested for felony DUI causing injury.
