A Burney man has been sentenced to 29 years in prison after being convicted by juries in two separate cases. 40-year-old Kwahn Quinn was found guilty in November after committing violent assaults in 2023 and 2024. In one of the cases he raped a woman while she was unconscious and when she woke up he threw a hatchet at her head, causing a skull fracture. His convictions included mayhem, assault, robbery, elder abuse and several other felonies.
