Pile Burning Set For This Week In The Shasta-Trinity National Forest

The Shasta-Trinity National Forest started another round of prescribed burns on Saturday, and they’ll continue through Friday, as weather allows. Plans are to torch up to 190 acres along Interstate 5 between Packers Bay and Antlers Bridge, 30 acres of piles north of Pondosa in the McCloud District, 150 acres of piles near Trinity Lake and 60 acres near Wildwood in the Yolla Bolla District. The areas may close to the public for a few days.
