A Redding sex offender has been arrested after a probation compliance check. On Wednesday Shasta County Sheriff’s Detectives and Probation Officers visited the Saginaw Street home of 65-year-old Duane Emerson Ohling. He had allegedly been searching and viewing pornography on the Internet. Deputies also reported finding a gun safe containing an assault rifle, multiple modified high-capacity magazines and thousands of rounds of ammunition. Ohling is being held without bail.
