A Redding man is accused of intentionally mowing down several people with his car. Sunday afternoon Redding Police were called to Reservoir Lane, where they found several injured people, including two who were still on the ground. Officers had been there earlier about a verbal fight between the same people. Multiple witnesses, including 5 victims, told officers that 43-year-old Jesse Eneix had made threats and then drove his car at high speed toward the group. Several were able to jump out of the way but three were struck by the car. A resident provided surveillance video to corroborate the story. Eneix was stopped while trying to leave the area and booked into jail for driving under the influence and 5 counts of assault with a deadly weapon.
