A Redding man has been ordered to face charges for an alleged domestic violence incident. 36-year-old David Lee Short was arrested January 22nd near the Sandpointe Apartments off Hilltop Drive. He’s charged with rape, kidnapping, corporal injury to a spouse and several other felonies and enhancements, including causing great bodily injury. Short returns to court February 19th. he’s being held without bail.
