A 25-year-old man who fled from the CHP in Tehama County has been sentenced. A CHP Officer tried to stop Rama Bnai on Interstate 5 for speeding. Bnai fled while driving recklessly but had no chance of outrunning the officer. He eventually pulled over and the officer determined he had signs of recent drug use. After pleading guilty to fleeing an officer while driving recklessly and driving under the influence, Bnai has been given a sentence of 6 months in Tehama County Jail and 3 years formal probation.
