It’s become clear now why Kevin Crye was absent from Tuesday’s Shasta County Board of Supervisors Meeting. A posting on his campaign’s social media says Crye checked himself into Mercy Medical Center with complaints of chest pain. He was admitted and it was confirmed that he had suffered a Cardiac episode. The posting says he’s expected to make a full recovery and there’s no cause for concern.
