The Shasta-Trinity National Forest is continuing some prescribed burning this week, as weather allows. 375 acres of piles will be torched in the South Salt Creek area near Lakehead, as well as 50 acres near Lewiston and Trinity Lake. The areas may close to the public for a few days.
