Motorcyclist Killed After Crash On Airport Road Just North Of Anderson

A Redding man was killed after crashing a motorcycle into a concrete bridge railing very early on Monday morning, according to the CHP. The 66-year-old man was riding a 2020 Harley Davidson northbound on Airport Road at about 1:50AM. He apparently failed to negotiate a left turn in the road just north of the North Street Bridge. The motorcycle crashed into a concrete bridge railing on the east side of the roadway south of River Valley Drive. He was taken to a hospital, but succumbed to his injuries.
