An online petition is being circulated calling for the removal from office of appointed Shasta County Registrar of Voters Clint Curtis and his assistant Brent Turner. The group “Shasta Exposed” is accusing the two of mishandling the election process. The petition calls for an investigation, and for them to be placed on paid leave while the investigation is underway. Curtis has dismissed the allegations and says he’s preparing a defamation lawsuit against Shasta Exposed.
