Asian culture will be celebrated in Downtown Redding this Sunday as the Redding Public Market hosts a “Lunar New Year Block Party”. It’ll be a Mien-themed event to mark the year of the Fire Horse, featuring a lion dancer performance and other traditional cultural performances and music, as well as booths, vendors, and Asian themed dishes served by Public Market restaurants. It takes place Sunday from 3PM to 6PM at 1551 Market Street.
