An area of persistent trash accumulation has once again been cleared through a cooperative effort of State Department of Fish and Wildlife and the Redding Police Community Work Program using labor from the Sheriff’s Work Release Crews. It’s been an almost weekly task to clear encampments and debris from the waterway near Hartnell and Bechelli that flows to the Sacramento River. A City of Redding Parks Crew helped by clearing invasive vegetation.
