Scam phone calls have been received lately by Redding Electric Utility customers saying they can “lock in” their current electric rate and avoid scheduled rate adjustments. REU wants everyone to know that there is no such concept as “locking in” rates. No personal or financial information should be provided and if there’s ever any doubt, customers should call REU directly.
