Man Found Guilty After September Murder In South Redding

A Redding man has been found guilty of murder by a Shasta County jury. On September 1st of last year, 63-year-old Glen Stevenson killed 46-year-old Salvador Robago at a home on Radio Lane. Rabago was impaled through the chest by a crossbow bolt, and he was pronounced dead after arriving at a hospital. Stevenson has a lengthy criminal record involving drugs and guns and was already on probation for being a felon in possession of a gun. In mid-October he was offered a deal that would have him plead to second degree murder. He turned it down and did not waive his right to a speedy trial. His case was dismissed in January because a courtroom was not available, but it was immediately re-filed. Stevenson faces up to life in prison when he’s sentenced on May 15th.
