A house in North Redding was heavily damaged by fire Saturday afternoon. Redding Fire Department was dispatched at around 2 O’clock to the house off Lake Boulevard on Santa Rosa Drive at Dana Court. The back of the house was well involved in flames, with the fire spreading throughout the attic. Much of the house was gutted and a backyard shed was also destroyed. The cause is under investigation.
