Undersheriff Gene Randall handled a community forum during Tuesday’s Shasta County Board of Supervisors meeting to provide information about how the department cooperated with federal immigration authorities last year. The forum is legally required for any law enforcement agency in California that provides immigration and customs enforcement with access to an individual. He said that ICE requested information about jail inmates 33 times, and seven of those requests were granted.
