There’s a lot of excitement building for the third year of “Glowing Wild”, which opens at the Turtle Bay Arboretum and Gardens this Friday night and runs on selected nights through the end of June. This time the illuminated lantern festival will celebrate the Year of the Horse. It’ll feature an all-new collection of never-before-seen lantern displays, including an animatronic T-rex and other dinosaurs, African animals, a giant pyramid, sphinx and other Ancient Egyptian icons, a herd of horses on rainbow clouds, and much more. There’s also themed music, glowing swings, bubbles and interactive features for all ages. The Glowing Wild Community Stage will host a variety of dancers, singers, musicians, martial artists and Turtle Bay animal ambassadors. Train rides and private lounge packages are also available. Tickets and other information can be found at turtlebay.org.
