A wildfire preparedness fair will be held Friday afternoon by the Redding Fire Department. Co-sponsored by Shasta County Fire Safe Council, the American Red Cross and Redding Electric Utility, the event will provide a lot of tips on being ready for wildfires. There will be fun family-oriented games and kids can meet Sparky the fire dog and talk to firefighters about what they do. It’s Friday from 2:30PM to 5:30PM at the soccer field in Caldwell Park.
