A couple of fires started in the Klamath National Forest in Siskiyou County Tuesday. The River Fire is off Highway 96 near Lumgrey Road and the Dutch Fire is off Highway 96 near Klamath Dutch Road. Both started Tuesday afternoon and they’re being managed as a single incident. As of Wednesday morning the fires are estimated at a combined 39 acres. Drivers on Highway 96 are advised to reduce speed, use their headlights and watch for firefighters.
