Following a nearly 18 month investigation, embezzlement charges will not be filed against the former director of Youth Options Shasta. The Susan Wilson case was probed by Anderson Police after it was handed over to them by Redding Police due to possible conflicts of interest. County Supervisor Kevin Crye railed against Wilson during a recent Board of Supervisors meeting, saying she had stolen from the non-profit organization by giving herself pay raises. However, Anderson Police say all of the annual pay increases had been approved by the Youth Options board of directors, so there’s no proof of a crime and the case is closed.
